The Plants for Parks program was introduced to help maintain and beautify New York’s State Parks. The program is made possible through New York Flower Power, New York State offices of Parks, Recreation and Historical Preservation. All the plants and materials are locally grown and donated to the sites by Flower Power members.
This year the National Museum of Dance and School of the Arts, located in The Saratoga Spa State Park has been chosen as one of the sites to benefit from the program. Chip’s Landscaping and Dehn’s Greenhouse are partnering to provide beautiful plants as part of the landscaping at the front entrance to the museum as well as the entrance to the School of the Arts Studios. The organizations hope to create an abundant annual display, to enhance the entrance to the beautiful museum.
The museum is very appreciative for this opportunity and to the people at Dehn’s Greenhouse and Chip’s Landscaping for their partnership with this program. When you stop by the National Museum of Dance this season to check out the wonderful exhibits be sure to admire the beautiful landscaping and flowers adorning the property, provided by New York Flower Power.
